New Single ‘Amber’
Released Friday March 4th

Cork based singer songwriter Eoin Jordan will release his brilliant new single ‘Amber’ on Friday March 4th.

This is his 2nd release as a solo artist, a song co written with Jerry McCarthy and follow up to his wonderful debut solo single ’Shadow From The Past’.

‘Amber’ tells a tale of discovery of who and what you can become and more importantly in coming to terms with it. Amber as a crystal is known for its healing properties, and this is a key facet of the composition and the underlying premise of the song.

Eoin has been a well-known face on the Cork music scene for the last 20 years as a former member of The Ceili Allstars, The Diviners and David Hope & the Henchmen. He is equally at home playing contemporary and traditional music, however his preference is for the latter. Influences range from Irish, Scottish, English, Breton, Old-Timey, Balkan folk music, Blues, Rock and Jazz. He has also performed and share a stage with acts including John Spillane, Altan, and Danu recording with many different acts including Hank Wedel, David Hope and John Leo Carter.

The recording took place in De Bunker Studio, East Cork with Dave O’Connell at the controls and guitarist Declan Sinnott (Christy Moore, Mary Black, John Spillane) who guested on the track also produced his first single ‘Shadow From The Past’. Finally East Cork based singer Gráinne Gormley added backing vocals to the track.
